UAE Pro League and Rixos Hotels partnership promise to take UAE football to new heights

It’s a goal for UAE football after the UAE Pro League sign a two-year strategic partnership with Rixos Hotels who will now be the official hospitality partner for an exciting series of  events.

It’s great news for Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a whole as a deal said to be worth AED 2 million will see Emirati football gain new ground.

The agreement, which was signed yesterday, 1st September, between the UAE Pro League and Rixos Hotels at the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, will also
provide Rixos Hotels the opportunity to reach out to a new audience.

The event was attended by UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani and Rixos Hotels UAE
Regional General Manager Cenk Unverdi.

Al Hosani (pictured on the right) said the important move serves the goals of the Pro League and benefits Emirati football.

“This partnership works in the interest of Emirati football, and is in line with the programmes and goals of the Pro League, which focuses on diversifying partnerships and sponsorships with various sectors. ”

He added: “Rixos Hotels are amongst the leading hotels in the tourism field in the world. We hope that the partnership agreement will benefit both parties.”

Rixos Hotels UAE Regional General Manager Cenk Unverdi said:  “Over the past few years, the UAE Pro League’s competitions have grown to become one of the fastest
growing form of entertainment in the region.”

He went on to confirm that partnering with the Pro League is an exciting opportunity to “connect with football fans in the UAE and to invite them to discover the world of Rixos and Accor in return”.

Established in 2000, Rixos hotels, the chain operates four hotels in the UAE namely Rixos Premium Dubai in JBR Dubai, Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites in Palm Jumeirah Dubai, Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah and Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
