Yas Waterworld is ready to reopen

Mark your calendars for 4th August as that’s when the floodgates open and you can head to Yas Waterworld to cool down and have some fun once again.

Yas Waterworld is back with a limited capacity of 30% in place in accordance with the saftey guidelines due to COVID-19.  Those holding annual passes will be able to access the water park a day on 3rd August, a day earlier to the official opening on 4th August.

Other measures in place to keep you safe include social distancing, thermal scanning and contactless payment, among others.

Speaking about the re-opening of theYas Island attraction, Leander De Wit, general manager of Yas Waterworld, said: “We are thrilled to welcome back our guests who have waited patiently for the return of water’s greatest playground.

“We would like to reassure our guests and staff that their health and safety remain our top priority and for this reason, comprehensive precautionary measures will be diligently implemented across Yas Waterworld.

“We’re excited to be able to deliver a safe and enjoyable waterpark experience to all returning guests this summer.”

The re-opening of Yas Watwerworld comes a week after Yas Island theme parks re-opened to the public, after being closed since March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Yas Waterworld will be open daily from 1pm to 10pm, with Mondays and Thursdays being for ladies only.
