Islamic New Year: long weekend holiday ahead

We recently enjoyed a four-day weekend for Eid Al Adha and now there’s a three-day weekend on the near horizon so mark your diaries.

Both the public and private sectors are set to enjoy a holiday on Sunday, 23rd August, making it a welcomed three-day weekend.

And if you’re looking ahead to the next holiday after the Islamic New Year then pencil in Thursday, 29th October, which is when we will be marking Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) Birthday, giving us another long weekend!
