Splash! it’s time to get back in the pool

Grab that beach towel and head to the hotel as the process for the reopening of pools roll out, with some already open!

The time is almost here to make that big splash into hotel pools, which have been closed since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
The news comes as the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) issued a set of instructions to allow hotels across the emirate to start the process of reopening.
Hotels will need to meet strict health and safety requirements before their pools are given the all clear to reopen.

Hotels across the emirate, such as the Beach Rotana and Fairmont Bab al Bahr, have took to social media to let their followers know that the hotel pools are now open and ready for guests to jump in.
Pool capacity has been set at 50% percent and there must be physical distancing of all people in the pool, on sunbeds and loungers of 2m apart.
