Here’s the expected Eid al-Adha dates

It’s been an unusual year so far but we’re still hankering after a holiday or two and one’s on the way, hopefully.

Eid Al Adha holidays

Eid al-Adha will probably fall on Friday, 31st July and we could all be enjoying a well-earned day off a few days later.

It all depends on the sighting of the moon, of course, and until then, we can’t give an exact date. That said, predications are placing the first day of Eid to be on 31st July, which is a Friday, the perfect day for it.

If Eid does fall on that day, this means we could have a day off work on Sunday, 2nd August.

Also in August, is the Islamic New Year on 23rd August, which will give us a three-day weekend.

The next national holiday after that is in October, when, on the 29th, we’ll be celebrating  Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Birthday.
