This Season Try These Homemade Face Mask Recipes

Now forget wasting time and money at your local spa. Try these simple, homemade face masks recipes.

Bananas’ Face Mask

Bananas are natural Botox agents. You can use a banana as an all-natural, homemade face mask that moisturizes your skin and makes it looking and feeling softer. Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana smoothly, then softly rub on it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then wash it off with cold water. One more popular mask recipe is 1/4 cup plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons honey. It’s a natural acne remedy. You can also add 1 medium banana in this recipe.

DIY Lemon Face Masks

Create a facemask that mutually exfoliates and moisturizes by mixing the juice from 1 lemon with 1/4 cup olive oil or sweet almond oil.

Milk Face Masks

Here’s one more method to give yourself an impressive spa facial at home. Make a homemade face mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with sufficient water to form a thick paste. Completely cover your face with the mixture, let dry totally, and then wash with warm water. After this, your face will feel fresh and re-energized.

Face Mask with Oatmeal

If you’re looking for a rapid refreshment that will make you feeling and looking better, give yourself an oatmeal facial. Add 1/2 cup hot water (not boiling water) in 1/3 cup oatmeal. Once the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons normal yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin coat of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash with warm water. While washing, don’t forget to place a metal or plastic sieve in your sink to prevent blockage of drain with the grains.

Mayonnaise Face Masks

As a soothing refreshing mask, gently apply the mayonnaise over your face and leave it on for almost 20 minutes. Then wipe it off and wash with cool water. Your face will sense itself fresh and smooth.

Yogurt Face Masks

To cleanse your skin and stiffen the pores, spread some plain yogurt on your face and let it settle for about 20 minutes. For a refreshing facial mask, mix 1 teaspoon plain yogurt with the juice from 1/4 slice of orange, some of the orange pulp, and 1 teaspoon aloe. Leave the mixture on your face for at least five minutes before rinsing it off.

Mustard Face Mask

Tap your face with slight yellow mustard for a cold facial that will relax and stimulate your skin. First try it on a small area to make sure it won’t irritate.

Egg Face Mask

Head to the refrigerator and take an egg. If you have dry skin that needs moisturizing, separate the egg and beat the yolk. Oily skin wants the egg white, to which a little of lemon or honey can be added. For usual skin, use the whole egg. Apply the beaten egg, ease and wait 30 minutes, then wash. You’ll get a new fresh face.
