4 tips to keep home learning on track
E-learning isn’t easy but these tried and tested tips from West Yas Academy should do the trick regardless where your child attends school.
BREAK IT UP
Taking regular breaks between lessons is a must. During these breaks remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Oh! And snack healthily.
STRETCH IT OUT
Make time to exercise, download some exercises such as stretches to ensure you stay mobile, and make sure to participate in your online PE lessons. Go on! Work out with the kids…it’s great for their and your grey matter!
SCHEDULE IT
Scheduling is for champs and keeps kids right on track! So, keep to your regular schedule as much as possible, including your sleep schedule. To make kids stick to it, work with them to create their own schedule and better still, let them create one for you AND stick to it! Now that’s motivating.
SWITCH IT OFF
Switch off to turn on brain power! When it’s e-learning time, let this be the sole focus of that particular period. Everything else should be turned off, yes, including social media notifications, the TV etc. You know it makes sense!
