The Abu Dhabi Science Festival is on!
Science, technology and engineering are taking over the capital with the latest installment of the Abu Dhabi Science Festival.
Between school and home learning, you might think that’s enough but the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) offers ways to keep children engaged during their free time too. The 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi Science Festival is underway from 30th January to 8th February 2020 in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The festival offers educational activities in the STEAM fields for both children and adults and aims to promote the spirit of discovery among future generations. This event – the largest of its kind – will be taking place across several locations in the capital with 75 workshops and scientific activities organised at Al Bahar along the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Al Jahili Park will host 20 interactive workshops and Al Dhafra City Mall will host five of them.
The Abu Dhabi Science Festival is open for school students from 9am to 1pm and then from 4pm to 10pm on weekdays. The festival is open to the public from 2pm to 10pm on weekends.
