The 5th annual Kite Festival returns with cool deals

Kite Fest returns and welcomes families to Anantara on Sir Bani Yas Island, Saturday, 7th March.

It promises to be a full day of fun with island exploration, creativity and an exciting kite creation contest where kite enthusiasts construct their own using a Kite Kit, with the hopes of catching the judges’ attention in one of the three categories: Most Creative, Largest, and Best Animal Shape. Kite-makers awarded first, second or third place also stand a chance of winning exciting prizes including stays, dining experiences and vouchers for Anantara properties in Abu Dhabi. 

For those looking for a getaway, Anantara is extending two festival packages: Day Visit and Camping.

Both include water transfers to and from Jebel Dhanna Jetty and island transportation to and from the event, a Kite Kit and entrance to the Kite Fest, a barbecue lunch on the beach including soft beverages, beach activities and a Nature & Wildlife Drive. 

The Camping Package also includes overnight camping (the night before the event), a barbecue dinner and breakfast at the Palm restaurant. For those without equipment, tents, sleeping bags and mattresses can also be booked.
