Digital platform launches for people of determination

People of Determination in the UAE will soon have a first-of-its-kind social media platform, which enables supporters of inclusion to connect and collaborate with each other to empower People of Determination in the community.

Inclusive is a collaborative, fun, platform where individuals, special centres, policymakers, government bodies and institutions meet. It will also serve as an online umbrella for all things related to inclusion so the community can collaborate to integrate People of Determination into everyday activities and events.

The first cohort of Ma’an Abu Dhabi Social Incubation found solutions for People of Determination like inclusive and winning out of more than 500 applications received from across the world has given Inclusive the credibility and resources required to positively impact the lives of People of Determination, their families and all supporters of inclusion in the UAE.

To date, Inclusive has organized three nationwide campaigns, including the first-ever online recipe contest in the UAE for teams of determination, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Culinary Season. It continues to collaborate with over 15 community partners in the UAE, including the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Special Education, to organize accessible events across the emirates.

The platform has a growing database and anticipates welcoming users from mid March 2020.
