Abu Dhabi nurseries to close for two weeks
The UAE Ministry of Education has issued precautionary new directives that will see nurseries close across the UAE, including here in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry said all nurseries across Dubai and Abu Dhabi will close for two weeks starting from today, 1st March.
The directive is precautionary and preventative measures to reduce the possibility of transmission of the COVID-19 virus infection.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and ADEK (Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge) have also issued a mandate stating that all schools and universities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi should cancel all trips, sports fixtures, events, exchanges and presentations, as well as extra-curricular activities, rehearsals and practices.
